Terms and Conditions

  

These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and responsibilities for participants, representatives, and staff engaging with Above & Beyond Care’s services. By using our services, website, or communicating with us, you agree to these terms.


1. Service Agreement


Before receiving supports, a written Service Agreement will be made between Above & Beyond Care and the participant or their authorised representative. This agreement outlines the type of support, costs, duration, and responsibilities of both parties.


2. Participant Responsibilities


Participants and their representatives agree to:


  • Provide accurate and  up-to-date personal, health, and NDIS information.
  • Treat staff with respect and follow reasonable directions related to safety and service delivery.
  • Notify Above & Beyond Care of any changes to contact details, NDIS plans, or support needs.
  • Pay any agreed fees or contributions as outlined in the Service Agreement.


3. Provider Responsibilities


Above & Beyond Care agrees to:


  • Deliver supports in line with the NDIS Practice Standards and Code of Conduct.
  • Protect participant privacy and confidentiality under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
  • Provide safe, high-quality, and person-centred care.
  • Communicate openly about any service changes, incidents, or complaints.

4. Payments and Cancellations


  • Charges are based on current NDIS pricing arrangements unless otherwise agreed.
  • Participants must provide notice for cancellations in line with NDIS policy (usually at least 2      business days).
  • Repeated short-notice cancellations may result in review or termination of the Service Agreement.


5. Privacy and Confidentiality


We collect, use, and store personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. By engaging with us, you consent to the collection and use of your information for service delivery and compliance purposes.


6. Website Use


When accessing our website:


  • You agree not to misuse or  disrupt the site.
  • You acknowledge that website content is for general information only and may change without notice.
  • We are not responsible for links to external websites or their content.


7. Intellectual Property


All content on our website, including text, logos, and graphics, is owned by Above & Beyond Care or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute this material without written consent.


8. Limitation of Liability


While we take every effort to provide accurate and reliable services, Above & Beyond Care is not liable for any indirect loss, damage, or injury resulting from service use or website access, except where required by law.


9. Complaints and Disputes


We encourage open communication.

If unresolved, you may contact the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commissionat www.ndiscommission.gov.au.


10. Changes to Terms


Above & Beyond Care may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in law or policy. The latest version will always be available on our website.
